Write it on your walls…

I put this up yesterday – right above my phone and desk where my laptop is in the kitchen:

Fitting for the spot since I find more and more that both my tongue and my fingers aren’t staying as quiet as they should.

Fitting for these days where it seems our country is in the hands of those who would change it from it’s very foundations and those who support it are shouting louder and louder. Can we be people with a “soft answer”?

I’m also reminded again of these verses in Romans:

Romans 12:19-21

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
